1. What this app is
"RVM Comments" is an internal tool used only by RVM Beyond Private Limited to read, reply to, and moderate comments posted on RVM's own Facebook Page(s) and Instagram professional account(s) through Meta's official Graph API. It is not offered to the public and does not access any other Page or account.
2. Information we process
- Public comments posted on RVM's own Facebook and Instagram posts (comment text, comment ID, time, and the commenter name or username where Meta provides it).
- Replies we post and moderation actions we take (for example, hiding spam or abusive comments).
We do not collect passwords, private messages, payment information, or data from accounts or Pages we do not own.
3. How we use it
- To answer questions about our courses, centres, admissions and placements.
- To hide spam, abusive or scam comments on our own posts.
- To route complaints to an RVM staff member for a personal response.
We do not sell this information, use it for advertising profiles, or share it with third parties except as described below.
4. Service providers
We use an AI service provider (Anthropic) to help draft reply text. Comment text is sent only for that purpose, and every reply is reviewed by an RVM staff member before it is posted. Our service providers are bound to process data only on our instructions and to comply with applicable platform terms.
5. Retention
We keep comment records and draft replies for up to 90 days for quality control, after which they are deleted. Comments and replies remain visible on Facebook/Instagram according to those platforms' own settings.
6. Your choices and data deletion
You can delete your own comment on Facebook or Instagram at any time. To ask us to delete any record we hold about your comments, follow the steps on our Data Deletion page or email legal@rvmcad.org.
7. Security
Access keys are stored securely, access is limited to authorised RVM staff, and keys can be revoked at any time.
